======= Conferences | cmNOG =======

//This [[|wiki page]] offers a common place to display and document the [[|cmNOG's Conferences]] organized either for the [[https://www.cmnog.cm|cmNOG's]] [[Structure:Community|Community]] or by the volunteers from the Internet's community, in Cameroon and abroad ; through a [[Structure:Association:Committees:PC|Programme Committee (PC)]]. Some of the tasks from the organising's check-list consist to: choose a central [[Conferences:cmNOGconferenceThemes|Theme]], select the [[|Conference's]] topics and recruit the presenters/panelists/moderators for each [[|Conference]]...//

Some of those [[|Conferences]] shall be, either, organized:

  * to support some higher communities (Sub-regional, Regional, Global);
  * to fulfill the [[https://www.cmnog.cm|cmNOG's]] [[https://www.cmnog.cm/Objectives|Missions]]: [[Conferences:cmNOG|cmNOG's Conferences]].

Each [[|Conference]] shall be organized at least one time per year, during one to three days (in six hours maximum per day), and [[Conferences:Evaluation_Template|Evaluated]]((Template of Questionnaire for a [[|Conference]] pre/post-Evaluation — https://www.cmnog.cm/dokuwiki/Conferences/Evaluation_Template)) in a regular and free basis.

Each [[|Conference]] shall be recorded and all their respective [[Conferences:QuestionsAnswers|Q/A sessions]] stored appropriately.

To ease the process of starting up while organizing new [[|conferences]], it is recommended to pick-up a [[Conferences:Templates|template]]; which would mostly satisfy the needs of the targeted event ([[|conference]]) to organize. 

If there is not yet a [[Conferences:Templates|template]] aligned with the kind of [[|conference]] you are trying to organize; then, maybe it's just a challenging opportunity, to you to draft a new "modern" and "exciting" [[Conferences:Templates|one]].
