Wilfried Kaven FINYOM TAMNO is a Cameroonian citizen by birth; who is actually living within its country. On the professional part of its life, Wilfried is currently working at CAMeroon Internet eXchange point (CAMIX), the incumbent IXP operator; where He is the Responsible of Technical Support. Prior to being recruited, he started as an intern back in 2019 (after being graduated), and grown under the guidance & assistance of Stéphane TETNDOH. Now, he committed himself to reproduce such needful assistance and guidance, he since then benefited in order to grow in its own professional career, for actual and upcoming interns within the CAMIX; through a constantly ameliorated Intership Programme (PrISPro). Wilfried hopes include to see more peering show-up within the existing IXPs and he is volunteer to contribute to any necessary incremental improvement that would occur on the interconnection side, including for deployment & maintainance of useful Public Interest Services (PIS) domestically.

Since the beginning of 2026, under the mentorship of Sylvain BAYA, he has been encouraged and prepared to actively participate in the activities of the AfriNIC Policy Development Working Group (PDWG 2)); which is responsible for developing policies) for the fair and efficient distribution of Internet Number Resources (INRs)(such as IPv4, IPv6 and ASN), within the AfriNIC's service region.
