Thematic context
The context of the global health crisis and its common lot, marked by confinement, isolation and therefore individual distancing, highlights the preponderant role of the Internet in this modern society known as connected. However, the brutality of government decisions is not always in line with the state of the infrastructure which will have to support the implementation of these major beneficial decisions… Finally, it is this Internet, so often abused and particularly treated as strongly “dissocializing”; is it that suddenly seems to rest all the strategies for maintaining social relations? If in some more digitized countries, things seem natural, in Cameroon it is time to question deeply on the modalities of an optimal use of the Internet in Cameroon in a global pandemic situation as in normal times. Humility, preventing us from stopping at the first mentioned case
We open this fascinating debate with the intention of producing, at the end of this brainstorming, a document containing recommendations to be addressed to each stakeholder of this vibrant ecosystem in its Cameroonian context. The targeted panelists are actors whose reputation is confirmed in the fields of Interconnection and services that take advantage of the Internet. Webinar N ° 5 (# cmNOGwebinar5) is offered to the cmNOG community, in particular, and will focus on the theme: "The Basics of Telework for All".
